Clarity Health: a healthcare pitch built around real patient portraits
Most healthcare campaigns pick a temperature and stick to it. Clinical and trustworthy, or warm and reassuring. Clarity Health wanted both in the same pitch.
A 30-second social video, display ad units, and a print poster, built as new business pitch material. The concept ran on real patient stories told without the soft-focus tropes the category overuses. Type stayed clean and confident. The cast was diverse because the audience is, and the visual treatment was honest about that without making it the point.
I cut the obvious "smiling family" hero shot from the second round and replaced it with a quieter portrait of one patient. Ambient light, no caption, looking off-frame. The whole campaign tightened with that shot in.
