Brinkmann's: seasonal hardware retail, designed at the level of Yeti and Solo Stove
Brinkmann's is a Long Island hardware chain that sells Yeti coolers, Solo Stoves, and snow blowers. The premium products on the shelf gave us license to design at the level of the brands sitting on it.
I built a year-round seasonal campaign system across print, email, and digital display. The cadence was strict. Spring hit in late February. By May we were in summer (the Yeti and outdoor-living quarter), staying through August. Fall meant Solo Stove and porch furniture. Snow blowers were live by October 15 every year, regardless of weather.
Each season got its own visual treatment. The Brinkmann's logo and type system stayed consistent across all four. Customers learned to recognize the brand.
The work shipped on a 4x annual cadence for 3 consecutive years. Click-through rates on the digital units ran 27% above the prior creative, and online sales grew 21% year over year through the program.
